We invite all those interested in reading books online, especially those from outside London who cannot visit us at our POSK headquarters, to use the Legimi.pl platform, with which we, as the POSK Polish Library, have been cooperating for years.
As part of our traditional subscription (£20, £15 for seniors), we provide you with year-round access to over 320,000 titles in e-book and audiobook format!

The lending library is available to Library members. To become a Library member, you must:
- present an ID with a photo
- show proof of address in the UK (bill, bank statement, etc.)
- pay £20 or £15 (for retirees) for an annual membership.
You can rent max. 6 books for 30 days. It is possible to extend the deadline for returning books, which can be done in person at the Library by calling the number 020 8741 0474 or by sending an e-mail to the address [email protected]
For each day the books are returned late, a fee of £0.10 per book will be charged.
Books can only be borrowed upon presentation of a valid library card.
The following items cannot be borrowed outside the Library:
- Manuscripts and archival collections
- Works in the reference collection
- Standalone publications up to 50 printed pages
- Documents of social life
- Magazines
- Dictionaries and encyclopedias
- Maps, atlases, sheet music and photographs
- Audiovisual and electronic media materials

Monday, Wednesday: 10:00 – 20:00, Friday: 10:00 – 17:00
Saturday: 10:00 – 17:00 (first Saturday of the month)
In TUESDAYS i THURSDAYS The library is CLOSED for readers.
